OncoSTART Showcase CALL FOR APPLICATIONS

Granted by the French Tech Community Fund 2021, the OncoSTART Summit event will offer on the same day entrepreneurial pitches, job dating sessions and the sharing of good practices with oncology entrepreneurs. The event will be organized as a satellite event of MEET2WIN European Convention Partnering in Oncology on May 13, 2022.

Below you will find all the information you need to apply for the OncoSTART Showcase Entrepreneurial Pitch Session:

Who can apply?

• entrepreneurial projects (company not yet created), based in France
• newly created startups, in France (creation date ≤ 12 months),

Having any type of application in oncology: therapeutic, diagnostic, digital / imaging, medical device, supportive care, web application, AI, etc.

Selection process for candidates invited to pitch (approximately 8 to 10 projects, depending on the results of the pre-selection committee):

Step 1 – Files qualification based on the following evaluation criteria:

• Expertise and complementarity of team members
• Relevance of the medical / patient need and / or the problem addressed
• Innovative aspect of the scientific or technological approach
• Coherence of the development plan

Step 2 – Candidates selection based on their application (Step1) by a multidisciplinary committee (January / February 2022).

Step 3 – Personalized pitch preparation session: shortlisted candidates will benefit from individual support by professionals in order to perfect the structure of their pitch and practice speaking.

• Duration : 7-8 mn max
• Language : French

Jury

OncoSTART brings together a multidisciplinary jury with various skills and profiles (investors, biotechnology companies, development structures, scientific opinion leaders, institutional representatives, patient associations, etc.)

Awards

The best projects will be awarded in different categories and will benefit from post-event media exposure.

Visibility

Selected candidates will benefit from media promotion and visibility of the European MEET2WIN convention. In addition to their oral presentation, they will have the opportunity to present their project in the form of a poster on a dedicated space within the MEET2WIN convention
